Benefit for Becki Small scheduled Saturday, April 28
The community will come together to assist one of its own this weekend.
A special benefit will be held Saturday April 28 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. for Becki Small of Osage, who was diagnosed with cancer in January.
The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Food will be served from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a raffle and auction.
According to organizers of the event, Small has a long, hard battle to fight, and she needs the community's support. All proceeds from the event will be used to defray the cost of medical expenses for the family.
Supplemental funds will be given by the Mitchell/Worth County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Becki is the wife of Bruce Small. The couple has three children, Mallory, Sydney and Sawyer. She is the daughter of Paul and Minerva Wagner of Osage.
While everyone is invited to attend the benefit, those who wish to donate an item to the auction may drop them off at Wright Plumbing and Heating or call and it will be picked up.
Monetary donations may be sent to the "Becki Small Fund" at Home Trust and Savings Bank in Osage.
For more information on the benefit or to donate, contact Becky Wagner at 732-3476, Debbie Goodale at 732-3744, Lori Randall at 732-3504, Laurie Boehmer at 732-5474 or Jean Wright at 220-3409.
